How to use the FAQ
Please refer to this FAQ for more information on OPAC functions and usage.
You can search questions and texts by keyword, and also browse by category.
If you cannot find the answer to your question, please contact the library (riyou atmark nichibun.ac.jp).
OPAC is not operating normally. (OPAC recommended browsers and Notice)
Recommended browsers
We recommend using the latest versions of the following browsers so that OPAC is easy to use:
Windows
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox
- Google Chrome
Macintosh
- Safari
Notice
These browsers do not operate normally with the following settings. Change these settings when applicable.
- Cookies setting: Disable
- Compatibility View setting: Enable (Internet Explorer)
- Referer setting: Disable
* If the Referer setting in your browser is Disable, the browser does not operate normally. After enabling Referer, access OPAC again.

What can I find with OPAC?
OPAC has tabs with various search targets. You can search for the following on the respective tabs:
- "OPAC": Holdings of the Nichibunken Library
- "Univ.": Holdings of university libraries nationwide
- "NDL": Holdings of the National Diet Library
- "Cross-search": Search across university libraries nationwide, the National Diet Library, CiNii, etc.
Switch to and use the tab appropriate to the search target and materials.

I'm looking for a material titled _____. How should I begin?
You can search our collection on the [OPAC] tab.
If you cannot find the material with [OPAC], you may request it from another university library.
You can search other universities from the [Univ.] tab and the [Cross Search] tab.
The Cross Search can search the National Diet Library and other university libraries in Japan.
The National Diet Library is struggling to store all the books published in Japan.
