You can access articles in back numbers of major scholarly journals.
Each title contains full text from the first issue to 3-5 years ago, and recent volumes are not included.
Some titles can be accessed from Nichibunken (by the SOKENDAI contract) and some titles that cannot.
For journals other than contract collections, a free personal account allows access to 6 articles every 30 days (downloading is not allowed).

KinoDen is a digital library service provided by Kinokuniya Book Store mainly for academic ebooks.
Currenltly, following books are available:

・If you use the ebook reader app bREADER Cloud you will have access to titles without going through the Nichibunken Network. (You will have access via PCs, tablets, and smartphones. First open “KinoDen” from the Nichibunken Network and then register an account from the link at the top right of the screen.)

K. Kusuda Collection: Sato Eisaku Papers

Consists of over 4,000 unpublished documents from the highest level of government, left by Kusuda Minoru, chief secretary to Sato Eisaku, the longest-serving prime minister (1964–1972) in postwar Japan. Dealing with a wide range of topics from diplomatic relations to domestic issues, they are essentially “Sato Eisaku documents,” including those classified as Top Secret.
The first phase, "Sato Eisaku Prime Minister's Office Documents," consists mainly of PM's Office materials from the Sato administration period, while the second phase consists mainly of supplementary documents from the first phase and subsequent documents from the Fukuda administration period to the Takeshita administration period.

Lion Bolt is a legal document search database offered by Sapiens Inc. It contains over 4,000 full-text searchable titles (one million pages) including authoritative basic books in various fields of law, commentaries, lawmaker interpretations, old and newly published books, and journals.
