M. MAGAZINEPLUS
One of Japan’s largest databases for journal article search. Covering works that could not be included in CiNii, it includes 14,000 annual reports, essay collections, collections of papers from symposiums and academic conferences, and so forth, for a total of 600,000 titles. The database as a whole contains about 30,000 periodical titles and 9,800,000 separate articles.

M. Maisaku [Mainichi Shimbun archive]
The digital archive of the Mainichi shimbun national daily newspaper (Japanese). The site allows searching for Mainichi Shimbun articles from the newspaper’s founding in 1872 to the present (up to previous day).
- Archives for not only the edition published by the head office in Tokyo but branch and local editions as well from the first issue in 1872.
- Search for scans of pages from the first issue in 1872 to 1999.
- Perusal using Flash format of digital reduced-size edition 1989–1999.
- Weekly magazine Ekonomisuto [Economist] articles and pages (PDF).
- Archive of The Mainichi English-language news site articles.

M. Mita Bungaku Online
Contains a total of 397 issues of the literary journal Mita bungaku from the inaugural issue in 1910 to immediately before the end of World War II, together with some 36,000 digital images and about 17,000 records. Offers access not only to literary works and articles but advertisements within the journal as well. Authors and bibliographical details are also accessible.
